source Reddit/r/hair The modern straight hair trend has been going on for a while, and it seems to have taken off.
A few years ago, a trend started where women in their 20s and 30s were buying straight hair extensions and hair coloring treatments online.
Now, straight hair is a trendy trend and women in the 21st century are getting into it.
And, now, straight women are also looking to get into the hair styling business.
“I think it’s just gotten more mainstream in recent years,” says Brittany.
“And I think people are just looking for something more, more contemporary.”
But not everyone has a straight hair dream.
Some of Brittany’s friends and family members are not into the trend.
“They were all like, ‘I don’t want to go to that salon,’ and I’m like, you know, you have to go see a professional,” she says.
“Like, they’re all pretty confident and super happy, but they don’t really know what to do with their hair.”
But some straight hair aficionados do know how to get in on the trend and they’re starting to make a living doing it.
One of Brittany and her friends, who wished to remain anonymous, had the idea to get her hair straightened.
“The first thing I did was a full haircut,” she remembers.
“Then I did my straightening with a straightening machine.
Then I just started doing a lot of the hair products online, like L’Oréal, Sally Beauty, and MAC.
And it just kind of started snowballing.”
Brittany says she’s always wanted to go into the straightening business, but she hasn’t been able to get the money to invest in it.
“It’s not just a dream,” she said.
“But I have this thing that I feel like I’ve been waiting for my whole life, and I think this is kind of where I’m at right now.”
Brittany is now working part time as a stylist at a salon.
She also does a lot more freelance work and has a small hair salon in Los Angeles.
She says she enjoys making sure that her hair is “straight, clean, and straight,” and that she’s “just doing what I do.”
Brittany’s friend also wanted to get straightened her hair for a living, but not in the salon.
“We just saw a friend of ours who was going to get it straightened, and she was like, I just don’t have time for that,” she recalls.
“So I’m going to be a stylists and do my own hair, and that’s how I ended up doing it.”
Brittany isn’t alone in wanting to go straightening professionally.
“A lot of straight hair girls are really into it,” says Rachel, who wants to become a hairstylist herself.
“There are so many straight hair women that are just into it, and they feel like, it’s so much easier than it used to be.
They’re just starting to figure out what’s best for them.”
For Rachel, it is easier to get a straight haircut than it was a few years back.
“Now, with the Internet, people are not only going to tell you to go do your own hair and your own style, but if you just want to be straight, you can do whatever you want,” she told the Today show in 2016.
“If you’re a woman, that’s a huge thing.
It’s kind of cool to just feel like a person now.”
But for some, the straight hair industry is just too much work.
“For me, it takes forever to straighten my hair, but it’s not as hard as I thought it would be,” says Sarah.
“As long as I can get a little hair out, that works for me.”
For many straight women, getting straightened hair is an important part of their everyday lives.
“When I get a new haircut or a new color, it feels really good to be doing something that feels good,” Sarah said.
Sarah, who is also an actress, said that her friend Brittany was also into the industry.
“My friend Brittany really loved it,” Sarah told Today.
“She was like ‘Yeah, I’d love to do that too.'”
Brittany and Sarah say they’re not only looking to straight up their hair, they are also thinking about straightening their families hair too.
“With our daughter’s hair, we don’t even have a straight cut,” Brittany said.
The two said that they were “blown away” by the success of their salon, but also worried that it would not be a good business.
They also don’t like the idea of having to make changes every month.
“You just have to keep your hair the same and get it done as often as you want, and if you don’t do that, you don.
You don’t make it worth the money,” Sarah added
